Preparation meets Opportunity

Spear, is the first solo musical project created by Reverie, and starts with a pirated version of MAGIX Music Maker in the early 2000s. Before even touching her first turntable in 2005, she fell in love with sampling. In the days of P2P & In_The_End.exe she found herself with a hard drive full of instrumentals and a cappella’s of her favorite songs. She also quickly learned how to deal with computer viruses.
After taking up new roots in Phoenix in the mid-2000s, Spear became a pillar in the rising popularity of Hardstyle in the Phoenix valley. Her energetic on-stage presence and unique style of mixing led to the Spear name steadily growing across the West Coast. Once she again found her love for making music, original songs and releases were not far behind. Legendary Phoenix venues saw Spear on their marquees often, including in places that Hardstyle didn’t belong such as Myst Nightclub in the upscale entertainment district of Scottsdale, AZ. High profile events like Phoenix’s own Freeze, Dirty Disco, & Bloodfest festivals also welcomed Spear on their lineups.
2010 was when Revi’s world was placed on fast forward. A new power in the USA Hardstyle scene was emerging in Hard Dance Nation with Spear becoming a founding member. Soon after that she joined the Darksiderz project and was now represented by the prestigious Corson Agency. Culminating in a once-in-a-lifetime performance at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2012 as Darksiderz.
Personal highlights from the career of Spear from this time include their performances at the first HTID USA (Hardcore Til I Die) events in both Los Angeles, CA & Phoenix, AZ in 2014 & 2015 respectively, and the Arizona Hardcore Junkies XV Anniversary in 2011.

After a series of personal losses and mental health struggles, Revi found herself at a crossroads. In 2017 the winds of change were at full strength and she decided to finally turn into the wind and let it take her on a ride. She decided to take a multi-year break from the stage and the studio to figure out who she was meant to be. The project known as Spear was officially retired and she moved on to other interests, never forgetting her roots.
Arizona Hardcore Junkies (2009-2016)

The story of Revi cannot be complete without the AZ Hardcore Junkies. Founded in 1996, this team of promoters had been a cornerstone of the Phoenix rave scene for 30 years. Founded on the mutual love of Dutch hardcore and all things underground hard dance music, this crew has been responsible for bringing the largest Hard Dance artists in the world to the Phoenix valley, including Angerfist, Ruffneck, Ophidian, & Noise Suppressor.
Joining the team in 2009 and departing in 2016, she had the honor of being shoulder to shoulder with American hardcore legends such as Cik, K.O.R.E, & Forsaken is Dead. Joining the production side of the crew, she was able to add her own sound to songs by the AZHC All Stars, including a remix of Temper Tantrum’s legendary classic “Industrial Strength” and one of the anthems for 2012 edition of the Ground Zero festival in the Netherlands.
Darksiderz (Pre 2013)
The original Darksiderz project that took the American hardstyle scene by storm in 2011 was a supergroup comprised of the talents of CGK, Necroflesh, Spear, & Enrizo. The powerhouse group was one of the prominent and founding members of Hard Dance Nation along side other major artists such as Lady Faith, JDX, & DJ Caffeine. Darksiderz, as well as the other main artists of Hard Dance Nation, were among the few to perform at EDC Las Vegas under the the Q-Dance banner before the rise of Insomniac’s own Basscon.
Since 2013 Darksiderz has been a solo project led by fka Necroflesh

S&M (Spear & Mamo)
In a bizarre twist of fate, Revi found herself as a mentor to other emerging DJs. S&M was the Teacher / Student pairing of Revi aka Spear and Brandon aka Mamo formed in 2012. During a period of time when Revi was at the top of her DJ game but still sharpening her musical production skills is when S&M found themselves quickly gaining traction with their own remixes and original productions. The pair were even selected to make the anthem for the 2014 edition of the annual Powersurge music festival in Phoenix, Arizona.
A cross country move for Revi and pursuits of different musical ventures led to the eventual retirement of the project. Today you can download some of their original productions in the Downloads sections of the site.
Redline Project
The Redline Project was the Student / Teacher pairing of Revi aka Spear and Jeremy aka CGK (Chi-Gu Kom) formed in 2007. The polished distortions in the mind of mentor CGK & the brash young mind of Spear made for songs that pushed the limits of where hardstyle was at the time. After releasing remixes, edits, and DJ mixes, the project faded into the background as other projects took the two artists in different directions.
Their previously unreleased single “Once A Day” can be downloaded on the Music page.
